### Grammar
- **Present Simple Tense — to be (am/is/are):**
  - **Affirmative:** I **am** a student. / He **is** a teacher. / They **are** happy.
  - **Negative:** I **am not** a student. / He **isn't** a teacher. / They **aren't** happy.
  - **Interrogative (Yes/No questions):** **Are** you a student? — Yes, I **am**. / No, I **am not**.
  - **Kural:** I → am / he/she/it → is / we/you/they → are
  - **Sık hata:** "She are happy" → "She **is** happy" / "I is a student" → "I **am** a student"
  - **Kısa cevap:** Is he...? → Yes, he **is**. / No, he **isn't**. / Are they...? → Yes, they **are**. / No, they **aren't**.
- **Object pronouns: me, you, him, her, it, us, them:**
  - Fiilden/edattan sonra object pronoun kullanılır
  - The teacher gave **him** a book. / Look at **her**. / Can you help **me**?
  - **Sık hata:** "Look at he" → "Look at **him**" / "Help she" → "Help **her**"
- **Prepositions of time:**
  - **at** → saat: at 8 o'clock, at noon, at midnight
  - **on** → gün: on Monday, on Friday, on my birthday
  - **in** → ay/mevsim/yıl: in May, in summer, in 2026
  - **Sık hata:** "at Monday" → "**on** Monday" / "on summer" → "**in** summer"
- **Before / After:**
  - I brush my teeth **before** school. (okuldan önce)
  - I do my homework **after** dinner. (akşam yemeğinden sonra)

- **Daily routines:** wake up, get up, brush teeth, wash face, have breakfast, go to school, have lunch, do homework, go to bed
- **Times:** o'clock, half past, quarter past, quarter to, a.m., p.m.
  - It's **seven o'clock**. / It's **half past three**. / It's **quarter to nine**.

### Grammar
- **Present Simple Tense — full verbs (affirmative, negative, interrogative):**
  - **Affirmative:** I **play** football. / She **plays** tennis. / They **go** to school.
    - He/She/It → fiil + s: plays, goes, watches, studies, has
    - **Sık hata:** "She play tennis" → "She **plays** tennis" (he/she/it → +s)
  - **Negative:** I **don't play** football. / She **doesn't play** tennis.
    - don't / doesn't + fiil yalın (V1)
    - **Sık hata:** "She doesn't plays" → "She doesn't **play**" (doesn't'ten sonra yalın fiil)
  - **Interrogative:** **Do** you play football? / **Does** she play tennis?
    - Do/Does + özne + V1
    - **Sık hata:** "Does she plays?" → "Does she **play**?" (Does'ten sonra yalın fiil)
  - **Kısa cevap:** Do you...? → Yes, I **do**. / No, I **don't**. / Does she...? → Yes, she **does**. / No, she **doesn't**.
- **Prepositions of place: at, in, on:**
  - **at** → spesifik nokta: at school, at home, at the bus stop, at the door
  - **in** → içinde/kapsam: in the room, in the box, in Turkey, in the kitchen
  - **on** → yüzeyde: on the table, on the wall, on the floor, on the bus
  - **Sık hata:** "in the table" → "**on** the table" (yüzey → on) / "at the room" → "**in** the room" (içinde → in)
- **Have to / Has to:** zorunluluk bildirir
  - I/You/We/They **have to** + V1: I **have to** wake up early.
  - He/She/It **has to** + V1: She **has to** wear a uniform.
  - **Negative:** don't have to / doesn't have to: I **don't have to** work on Sunday.
  - **Soru:** Do you have to...? / Does she have to...?

- **Common and irregular nouns:**

- **Countable and uncountable nouns:**
  - Countable: apple, book, chair, pen, student (a/an + singular, -s + plural)
  - Uncountable: water, milk, bread, rice, money, music (no a/an, no plural -s)
  - **Sık hata:** "a water" → "**some** water" / "waters" ❌
- **Quantities of food:**
  - a kilo of rice, a bottle of water, a piece of cake, a glass of milk, a packet of biscuits
